Multimedia artists and programmers from Poland, Germany and France will take part in The Brain – Open Lab, a workshop devoted to data gathering, human memory, and the workings of the brain. The event will be hosted by the gallery of the Polish Institute in Berlin.

The largest and most comprehensive exhibition of Polish art and craft ever shown in China was opend to the public at the National Museum in Beijing on the 6th of February. The show, which will run till the 10th of May, has been put together by Poland’s leading museums, supported by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beijing.
The largest exhibition of Polish art ever shown outside of Europe opened in the National Museum of China on the 6th of February. This unique chance to see some of Poland’s finest art works in the heart of Beijing is the result of joint efforts by a numer of institutions, including the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in China.
Vintage interiors of a Paris townhouse where Frederic Chopin once gave his concerts, embassy seats in Washington and London bought in 1921, and offices of diplomatic missions in Ankara and Sofia are some of the valuable buildings which saw the history of Polish diplomacy in the making. Music instruments and other do-it-yourself objects made from recycled materials are some of the attractions of the Polish project showcased during the International Kids’ Carnival Venice as part of the Venice Biennale on 7-17 February. The event is co-organised by the Polish Embassy in Rome.
The main idea behind the “United States of Beta – Poles Jazz the World” record is openness to the world. It includes unique compositions, which take us into the world of musical diversity – ethno, jazz and chillout. It’s a distinctive mixture of influences and moods from the most distant places – from Scandinavia to Africa, from India to New York.
The new video called “Fight Club” is available from Friday, 13th February.

The “Brands for Poland” programme created by Grzegorz Kiszluk, editor-in-chief of the Brief magazine and the author of the Brief for Poland platform, is about to be launched. Its objective is to support and build the competitiveness of Poland and Polish brands internally as well as abroad. The idea behind the programme is the Brief’s Efficiency Triangle where every side has its specific role: administration – coordination; universities – knowledge transfer; business – investor and the biggest beneficiary.
With our invited guests, we will discuss various topics, presenting interesting projects and introducing the possibility of harnessing the potential of Poles living abroad for the creation of the image of Poland around the world.
