“Miasto 44”, the latest movie by Jan Komasa will be shown in Polish cinemas on 19th September, 2014. It will be a story about youth, love, courage and sacrifice, and it is set during the Warsaw Uprising. For the first time in the history of Polish cinema, the movie’s premiere will be preceded by the appearance of a limited collection of t-shirts announcing this production, entitled “Miasto 44 by QПШ Robert Kupisz”.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. It will be accompanied by number of events organised between 25th July and 9th August in Warsaw. These will include outdoor concerts, the Warsaw Uprising race, exhibitions, a special performance and a unique cycling event called “Masa Powstańcza”. Polish people living abroad do not forget about the insurgents either – an enormous mural commemorating the Warsaw Uprising is being painted in New York.
The Imago Maris project was created to promote the idea of sailing the sea for blind people from different European countries. The main objective is to exchange experience and integrate blind sailors from all over Europe.

Conference 360, a two-day forum organized by Pangea Network Poland, which offered of a unique opportunity to meet the most creative representatives of various industries, took place mid- June in Lublin. Among the speakers were business people, media representatives, and people with a personal passionwhich had become their way of life.
