Anna Gruszczyńska is a postgraduate student at the University of Cambridge. Her last year’s undergraduate research in geography was a qualitative study of Polish immigrants in Hartford, CT, their English-language proficiency, and participation in the American labour market. Currently, she is studying motivations for and consequences of engagement in bilingual education among Polish immigrants in the UK’s changing political climate.
