On 1 May 2014 we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the European Union. Since 2004 Poland has received more than 82 billion EUR from the Cohesion Policy, which is being invested in new roads, improving natural environment, fast Internet connection, innovative development of companies, etc. The money that we have received exceeded our membership fees more than three times. As a result, Poland is the biggest net beneficiary of European Funds and the average level of EU subsidies per capita in Poland amounts to 8500 PLN.

The Poland-Luxembourg Business Forum will be held on 8 May at 9.00, in Warsaw’s Regent hotel. The meeting is arranged by the Chamber of Commerce of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency and Polish Chamber of Commerce.

The 4th Young Entrepreneurs Forum will be held on 13-14th of May 2014 at the Muranów Conference Center in Warsaw.
Like in previous years, the competition was addressed to entrepreneurs who offer highest quality products and services, who are innovative, who want to promote their distinctive character and who want to strengthen the image of goods offered on the Polish market. The competition was also open to municipalities, research institutes and companies that run innovative projects.
Europe in view of challenges of global competition, new finance of the European Union, the industrial and energy policy, migration and the HR and labour market, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and global expansion of Polish enterprises (China, Africa) will be the major subject areas of the European Economic Congress 2014 in Katowice. In 14 days, the leading politicians, entrepreneurs, experts and scientists will be debating the issues of the greatest importance to the economy.
On 15 April, PAIiIZ announced the competition for designing the Polish Pavilion at EXPO 2015 in Milan. The contest also includes the design of the internal exposition in the pavilion and its surroundings. The Union of Polish Architects (SARP) is the Patron of the competition. The contest is aimed at architects.
Nearly 40 representatives of Polish business took part in the business mission to Senegal and Ghana prepared by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy and Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.
