Representatives of Polish food companies from Eastern Poland took part in Summer Fancy Food Show in New York from June, 30 to July, 2 and presented their products on a 100-meter Polish stand.

Poland has become the world’s largest raspberry producer. In 2012, the total volume of raspberries produced in Poland reached 127,000 metric tons. About 90 percent of Poland’s raspberry production is exported.

In 1898, just after passing the final exam, Adam Piasecki opened confectionery. In a small plant on Dluga Street, on the beginning he employed 5 people. The big success and the positive opinions about his products led Piasecki in 1910 to begin the factory-made production. The first brand store have been opened in one building on the Main Square in Krakow and exist there till today.
