This Saturday the Netherlands-Polish Chamber of Commerce (NPCC) organizes the 5th annual Charity Rijsttafel ‘Hollandse Meesters’ in the InterContinental Hotel Warsaw and is pleased and grateful to host approximately 350 guests for the Netherlands-Polish Chamber of Commerce (NPCC) flagship event. This year the Rijsttafel team has chosen a theme “Hollandsche meesters” which refers to the paintings of the Dutch Golden Age, a period in Dutch history generally spanning the 17th century. Some replicas of the masterpieces will be displayed.

On 6 September 2015, after 1,5 days of climbing, the whole Tagas Expedition Team (Maciek Bedrejczuk, Maciek Janczar, Tomek Klimczak and Marcin Wernik) stood on top of the untouched summit at the height of 5809 metres above sea level (Lachit Valley, Pakistan), marking a Rolling (D) Ice route on the northern slope. On the way up the team had to deal with hard ice, unplanned camping in space blankets as well as bad weather on the second day of climbing, which lasted until they came back to the base camp. The whole mountain adventure took three days from leaving the base to coming back. The name of the summit will be selected by the donors who supported the expedition through the PolakPotrafi website.

The expedition is held under Link to Poland’s media patronage.
