Although Poland regained independence in 1989 the battle of memory continues, and when it comes to the memory of modern history – the battle is just beginning. The Communist period in the history of our country blasted the national identity and consciousness of Polish people. Long years of political propaganda turned the order of things upside down. A victim has become an executioner, a hero has become a forest bandit, and a Stalinist torturer, a hero.

Deadline for submission of master’s thesis to the eighth edition of the contest for the best master’s thesis “Teraz Polska Promocja” was extended until 24 October 2014.

The contest is held under Link to Poland’s media patronage.

Rafał Bauer tells us about the fight with disease and the death of a loved one, the long-distance marches, guided by a noble purpose, which have become a way of life and the need for assistance and awareness in this article, “And this is it …”.

The Imago Maris project was created to promote the idea of sailing the sea for blind people from different European countries. The main objective is to exchange experience and integrate blind sailors from all over Europe.

The first Leaders of the Future Club meeting took place on 17 July 2014 in the St. Antonio Restaurant in Warsaw. The club members have been nominated within the “25/25. Young leaders to start” programme organised under the patronage of Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, the Minister of Labour and Social Policy. Among others, the group of 25 leaders includes Adam Bodnar, Rafał Brzoska, Joanna Erbel, Maria Seweryn, Olga Kozierowska, Dorota Masłowska, Artur Kurasiński, Michał Sadowski and Patrycja Piekutowska, who gave a beautiful concert at the club meeting.
