As of 28 September 2015 passengers on both national and international flights can use a new part of the Kraków Airport terminal. The first plane dispatched from the new building was the 05:40 flight to Warsaw.

Chopin Airport’s first modern terminal has been redeveloped in a new form. Following a major overhaul, it has lost its original violet-red roof colour, but got bigger and more comfortable, making it possible to handle over 20 million passengers annually.
