Dream Walker participants want to show all those who dream of flying, that the Dream Jump allows you not only to fulfill those dreams, but also give you the opportunity to see the world from a different perspective. Participants in the project will reach the deepest abysses, rediscover places that until now were considered only as places for holidays, and last but not least learn how to fly.

The first edition of the project starts in May, so preparations for a trip to Norway are in the final stages. What has been organised so far?

First of all, it is already a carefully selected team. A group of 12 people – positively crazy, passionate, liking difficult challenges and adrenaline, and wanting to cross and conquer new borders. Last weekend, organisers, technical team and participants had the opportunity to meet each other in Głogów and practice together. There were jumps from Głogów Dream Tower of 222m, which was a great team-building event that helped the team bond ahead of their trip to Norway.

In the end of January, the organisers announced a competition for the logo design of Dream Walker. They received 74 projects(!), and after a difficult selection process and play-off, the winner finally emerged who won the chance to join the team travelling to Norway. The present logo is subjected to the final conversion and will soon be officially presented.

One who showed desire to participate in the event was Devin Graham, known as Devin Super Tramp  – an excellent photographer and filmmaker. The man who became famous as the creator of films about people with passion; perfectionists in fields varying from sports to music. His films, especially those concerning extreme sports are very popular and some have over 20 million views on youtube – to view two of them, see HERE and HERE.

Devin agreed to film the jumps and the record-beating by the participants of the project Dream Walker in Norway. But to make his arrival possible, it is necessary to find a sponsor who will be willing to pay for travel expenses of Devin and two members of his crew from Salt Lake City to Stavanger. In return, the organisers of the project will ensure the promotion of the sponsor on the film channels of Devin and Dream Walker.

Participants in the project will also be equipped with 10 GoPro 3 Black Edition cameras, which will allow them to achieve the highest quality results, such as bullet time effect.

Also joining the team are Cam-L Studio – the winner for Best Editing on the Freestyle Movie Festival 2012.

Additional sponsors of the project are Antyradio and the President of Głogów – Mr. John Zubowski!

In the first part of the project, teams from France, Lithuania and Spain will participate, and all the participants will be supervised by the local Norwegian team Stavanger BASE Klub.

The technical team of Dream Walker will go to Kjerag on May 15 to install the system and do test jumps. On June 1, the participants arrive.

It’s going to be such an amazing event, professionally prepared, and full of unforgettable memories. If you would like to join the project,  8 spots are still up for grabs!

Conditions of participation and detailed information about the project can be found on Dream Walker‘s website.
