Golden Snowflake from Montenegro goes to Magdalena Dąbkowska

Magdalena Dąbkowska from Poland won the International Festival of Children’s Song ‘Zlatna Pahulja 2014’ in Rozaje, Montenegro.

The Festival had a two-stage procedure: qualifications and finals. Qualifications for the first stage were held in January 2014 on the base of submitted material judged by a jury. Julia Ksit and Magdalena Dąbkowska from Teenager Community Centre in Żyrardów got positive results, finalist title and invitation for the finals to compete for Gold, Silver or Brown stars. Girls were also representatives of Poland.

Magdalena Dąbkowska, winner of ‘Zlatna Pahulja 2014’ sang ‘Happy Rain’ (music-Jerzy Wasowski, lyrics-Jeremi Przybora) . Magdalena was coached by Agnieszka Orzechowska.

 

International Festival of Children’s Song ‘Zlatna Pahulja 2014’ was first organised in 1994 thanks to the creativity and enthusiasm of people from Rozaje, the local Culture Centere and well-known poet and producer of TV show for children from Montenegro – Dragonov Radulicov. The Festival has spread almost all over Europe, and its Golden Snowflake lights already for almost 20 years. The organisers of the Festival were: Rozaje, Rozaje Culture Centre, patronage was taken by Ministry of Culture of Montengero, and a media patron was Public Television of Montenegro SEVIS.
