On behalf of the organizers, we cordially invite to Grand Prix of Poland, which will take place at the cycling track BGŻ Arena in Pruszków on 31st August and 1st September. Teams from nineteen countries will participate in the GP of Poland: Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Finland, Denmark, Norway, South Africa, Italy, the USA, Trinidad and Tobago. The twentieth team is from Poland. The GP of Poland is the most significant race of the Union Cycliste Internationale, more important are only the UCI Track Cycling World Championships and the European Track Championships and the UCI Track World Cup.

According to the UCI rules the competitions include the following categories of races:

– Man Elite

– Man Juniors, Man under 23, Women Juniors, Women under 23 and Woman Elite

– And at least 3 Olympic competitions from the program of the World Championships.

 

The following world and European champions will participate in GP of Poland in Pruszków:

1. Pawłowska Katarzyna (POL) – world champion in scratch in 2012 and 2013

2. Bujak Eugenia, Jasińska Edyta, Wojtyra Małgorzata (POL) – runners-up of Europe in the team sprint in 2012

3. Chulkova Anastasia (RUS) – world champion in the points race in 2012, the bronze medallist at the European Track Championships, Woman’s Omnium

4 Förstemann Robert (GER) – the bronze medallist in the UCI World Cup in London in 2012, multimedallist at the World Championships and European Track Championship

5. Liß Lucas (GER) – leader of the UCI in 2013, Man’s Omnium

6. Bötticher Stefan (GER) – world champion in sprint in 2013

7. Wagner Robin (CZE) -champion of the Junior European Track Championships in the category Under 23 on the distance 1 kilometre in 2013

8. Hoffman Nolan (RPA) – runner-up in scratch in 2012

9. Zieliński Damian, Kuczyński Kamil, Bielecki Maciej (POL)- the bronze medallists in team sprint in the European Track Championships, Man’s Elite in 2011

10. Maksel Krzysztof (POL) – runner-up in the European Track Championships in Men’s  Keirin Final in 2012, the bronze medallist of MME on the distance 1 kilometre in 2013

11. Kwesi Browne (TRI) – 4th place in Men’s Keirin Final in the UCI World Cup in London in 2012
