Kraków Airport is among 180 companies whose CSR practices have been included in the 15th edition of the annual report compiled by the Responsible Business Forum, entitled “Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices” report. This year, the prestigious report showcases a record-breaking number of activities carried out by the airport – 7 distinguished practices.

This year, passengers will choose from 13 new connections added to last year’s offer, amounting to 83 routes in total and 11 new destinations. Additionally, the easyJet and Ryanair flights launched in the 2016/2017 winter season will remain in the schedule. After seven years, Kraków Airport is proud to relaunch a direct flight to the United States (Chicago), and for the first time this summer, passengers will also fly to Portugal (Porto) and Israel (Tel Aviv).
Lviv is the Kraków Airport’s 17th new connection for the 2017/2018 winter season and the 28th new connection in this year’s network for the Kraków Airport.
During the press conference on February 1, 2017, Ryanair announced its biggest ever flight schedule from Krakow – 14 new routes to: Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Glasgow, Gӧteborg, Lisbon, Malmӧ, Marrakech, Marseille, Naples, Nuremberg, Prague, Seville and Tel Aviv. During the winter season will be operated also 3 new connections to Porto, Valencia and Venice Treviso (a total of 50 routes).
On December 14, 2016 representatives of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency and the Board of Kraków Airport signed a letter of intent concerning the cooperation aimed at activation of Ground Based Augmentation System (GABS) at Kraków Airport. The signed agreement concerns implementation of GBAS-based instrument flight procedure at Kraków Airport. The system uses satellite technology supporting the air traffic control navigation system.
In the winter season, as many as six new routes will be offered to passengers by two largest airlines operating from Kraków Airport – Ryanair and easyJet. Tourists arriving at Kraków will have the opportunity to discover winter attractions of Kraków and Małopolska.

Today, during a press conference Ryanair airline launched its Krakow summer 2017 schedule, with 5 new routes.
Ryanair has announced two new destinations from Kraków. In the 2017 summer timetable flights twice a week to Venice (Treviso) and Pescara.
