Film ‘Bean A’ Chotain Ruaidh’ (‘The Woman in the red coat’) by Dariusz Sipowski is participating in short Scottish Gaelic film competition FilmG, supported by BBC. Last year Sipowski won People’s Choice Award for his short documentary. In this year voting finishing until 10th of February 2014 and ceremony with all awards will be in March 2014.
Communing with art we often wonder who is hiding behind the canvas. After all, tangled strokes and lines, the microcosm of painter’s imagination, must reflect the author. If we take the fact that art is the way to understand the artist’s world for granted, the works of Ewa Malijewska validate this thesis in the best possible way.
Włodek Pawlik’s record called “Night in Calisia”, made with Randy Brecker and Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra, has won the Grammy Award in the Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album category.
