A new guidebook on Poland, written in collaboration with the Polish Institute in Prague, is on sale at Czech bookshops from 1 July. The guidebook’s premiere coincides with the beginning of the summer holiday season in the Czech Republic.

The promotional campaign “Poland – come and find your story” encouraging foreigners to discover Polish tourist attractions, history and culture, has been launched in Vilnius. The campaign is run by the Polish Institute in Vilnius. As a part of the Polish Days in Berlin’s schools, students can learn Polish and debate about Polish cinema.

Multimedia benches, a mobile tourist information point, 5D bicycle simulator, artistic performances, amber creations will present Poland’s tourism potential during the Polish Tourism Week which has begun today at the World Exposition EXPO 2015 in Milan. All activities, which will take place between 18 and 24 May in Poland’s Pavilion and throughout Milan, will be held under the motto “Poland. Come and find all colours of life.” The Polish Tourism Week is organised by the Polish Tourist Organisation.
The International Day of Mother and Child, starring actress Ewa Blaszczyk, will be held on the 25th May 2015 in Bath. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the foundation “AKogo?”.

560 km, 13 days and 25 kg on his back – in July this year Rafał Bauer will face one of the most unfriendly landscapes on Earth and he will do it in record time. The aim of his expedition is a lonely traverse of Iceland from its northernmost point, Rifstangi, to the southernmost point, Kotlutangi. All this will be done without getting any food supplies on the way and with no help from outside.
